Review: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love this book but it's not as good as the first!

Question:
Ginny was the one to open the Chamber of Secrets this time which I still don't understand because you have to be the heir of Slytherin, or did Tom Riddle's memory open the Chamber of Secrets once Ginny started talking to him through the diary and his power grew?

Things I forgot that I love:
- Nearly headless Nick's 500th Deathday Party! lol He feels left out of the headless crew because only NEARLY headless...
- Omg and I forgot that Argus Filch was a squib! (born into wizarding world but has no powers)
- Also I forgot that Salazar Slytherin created the Chamber of Secrets! He has a point in not trusting muggles though, rumor has it that there use to be a war between the two races, and muggles won...
- Tom Riddle frames Hagrid for being the one to open the Chamber of Secrets 50 years ago and tells people Aragog was the monster inside of the Chamber. Hagrid gets expelled and his wand confiscated (or so they think). Tom Riddle is head boy and given a trophy to keep quiet about the whole thing, the headmaster at the time being ashamed one of his students would do such evil. Hagrid gets framed again this time and gets sent to Azkaban :S Poor Hagrid...
