Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
It was okay. Nothing seriously wrong with this book I was just so meh about it.
It's more of an older YA book, not necessarily because of the sexual and violent themes but also the writing style.
It's slower paced than most YA novels. But it's not slower paced because there's more descriptive settings or things, there's not much of that at all in this book actually. It's mostly just dialogue.
For the first time (for me) all the vampire rules and facts are laid out right from the get go instead of laving it a mystery and learning along the way. I did not like this, I'd rather learning on the way instead of cramming all the rules and facts in the beginning.
I won't continue reading the series.
